14 JKAS officers inducted in Indian Administrative Service | KNO

Srinagar, Aug 28 (KNO): As many as 14 officers from Jammu & Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) have been inducted in the prestigious Indian Administrative Service (IAS). Acording to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the Department of Personnel & Trainings on Friday notified the list of officers of Jammu & Kashmir inducted into the AGMUT cadre of IAS under promotion quota. As per the notification, the President has approved the select list of 2019 and 2020. The 10 officers finding place in 2019 select list include Babila Rakwal (Commissioner Secretary, Science & Technology Department), Shabnam Shah Kamili (Commissioner Secretary, ARI& Trainings Department), Rachna Sharma (Secretary in Department, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj), Leena Padha (Mission Director, Skill Development Mision), Rajinder Singh Tara (Secretary in the Department, Forest, Environment & Ecology), Tariq Hussain Ganai (Managing Director, J&K Medical Supplies Corporation), Munir-ul-Islam (Secretary in the Department, Information Department), Sajad Hussain Ganai (Mission Director, ICDS), Anoo Malhotra (Director General, Rural Sanitation), and Nitu Gupta (Secretary in the Department, Agriculture Production Department). According to the notification, four officers have been inducted against vacancies of 2020. The officers include Prediman Krishan Bhat (Commissioner State Taxes), Bhawani Rakwal (Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan), Smitha Sethi (Managing Director, J&K Housing Board) and Anuradha Gupta (DG, Youth Services & Sports)—(KNO)
